The Man

He is the man, the man who has it all
He's smarter, knows it all, and so deserving
No fear, clear eyes, untamed, he hears the call
What he doesn't know isn't worth preserving

There's nothing he cannot grasp and gain
For him no rules or regulations
He casts off his fetters and his chain
And now he throws the wildest accusations

In truth his judgement stands and brooks no judge
His mind is full: conspiracy, mirage
For weaker minds or facts he shall not budge
His spoken words a thundering barrage

So grand: in him we trust, for him we go
So wise: he speaks of them who wish us harm
Who they are we know not, but him we know
They're after us, he says, let's raise alarm

Look at the weak, the weird and the other
Other them down, other them forth, into them
Nothing you have, nothing to lose my brother
He says: now rupture earth and break the stem

Nothing you have, and he, he has it all
We become them and then we are strong
You've nothing to lose now, come see who's small
In his eyes a fear, he sees we belong
